Intricate and dreamy. One to watch for!

This station is a dream come true. It goes without saying but Dreampop, Shoegaze, isnt exactly a mainstream thing. and believe me its fine by me. But still, its so hard to find and get my needed fix of music, that speaks to my romanticism with escapism and daydreaming.

Who knew a kid from the Bronx, who now lives in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania, would be able to find an entire station, a RADIO STATION, devoted to something he is truly and forever in love with. Thank you so much for this. Thank you from me, and for so many who truly love, cherish and in some or many cases, need this in their lives, in order to survive and enjoy this delicate thing we call, life.

Another great single you can’t buy yet. The waiting is awful.

When all’s said and done, we’re really just waiting for the new Waldo & Marsha album. Perfection.

Tides of the Moon

I’d love to give “Tides of the Moon” a spin on one of our upcoming “New Tracks Weekend” programs! How do we get hold of it? The whole project sounds quite nice!

My own project/tribute to the shoegaze genre, that I’ve been recording in my bedroom for some time :

mongaze asked: hi! i'm starting a monthly shoegaze series at the paper box in brooklyn (our first show will be may 6), and i wanted you to know that your blog has been a great resource for finding bands to reach out to. thanks so much!

Good to hear! Other resources you might want to check out: our blog at decayfm.com, and Sounds Better With Reverb. They have a pretty consistent listing of new artists and releases. And keep us posted!

lawnmall asked: I really love your blog! I'm probably starting a shoegaze show on radio k (University of Minnesota) this summer! I'll keep track of your taste to expand my own!

If you do, be warned you may make more friends and have a blast in the process! Also check out Mo’ Pedals at KCPR, a regular shoegaze & dream pop show out of Cal Poly. Keep us posted!
